Admission Info for EMCC

ADMISSIONS

East Mississippi Community College breaks down barriers:

Where the barrier is geographical, EMCC offers classes at many locations throughout its six-county district.

Where the barrier is related to personal or work schedules, EMCC offers day, night, and online classes.

Where the barrier is financial, EMCC offers tuition assistance for new students who live in and graduated from high schools in
Clay, Kemper, Lauderdale, Lowndes, Noxubee, Oktibbeha, and Calhoun county,
as well as a full array of institutional scholarships and financial aid for qualifying students.

East Mississippi Community College believes that qualified students should not be denied
an education because of financial need. To meet this commitment, EMCC offers assistance
to students through a number of financial aid programs — including Tuition Assistance,
EMCC scholarships, grants, loans and campus employment.

During the summer semester, an additional Pell Grant is available to students who would like to accelerate their degree and enroll in at least 6 summer hours. Student may be eligible for additional Pell even though they may have received all their regular Pell during the previous fall and spring semesters. Call our Lion Central offices for GT 662.243.1920 or Scooba 662.476.5079 to learn more.
